Natural Hair care products.

Let me start by telling you what type of hair I have. I have an oily scalp but also a little dry mid to ends. I have fine, wavy hair so it becomes difficult to find light weight products that moisturize but are still light weight enough that they aren't going to take volume away from my hair. I've been trying to find a good conditioner and shampoo but haven't had much luck yet. I've been trying out a lot of natural/organic products which don't have SLS, Parabens, or Mineral Oil. I tend to like the products then they seem to not work well for me after 2 weeks. I like to air dry my hair as well so need to find products that don't need to be heat activated. Besides heat is bad for your hair. Here are a few that I have use/used and reasons why they didn't work for me or did.

Aubrey Organics Swimmer's Normalizing Conditioner
I wanted a conditioner that would nourish my hair from all the harshness of the chlorine when I would swim. My hair felt grimy as if I didn't shower and didn't seem to absorb into my hair at all.
Shikai Mist & Go Conditioner
I really wanted this product to work for me. I even bought it twice. It has UV filters to protect color and the sun. It smells great too, a fresh light scent. It felt like it didn't give me the moisture I needed for my hair. You can get this online or health food stores them. You can also find the closest store to where you live that carries it on the website.
Jason Thin to Thick Hair Thickening Conditioner

This conditioner tingles but in a fresh feeling way a little after you apply and feels as if it absorbs well. It tends to not seal in moisture even though it feels as if it absorbed into your hair but once you rinse it. I feel as if I should repeat or add a leave in conditioner. I might end up trying the whole line of thin to thick and see if it works best that way.

Shu Uemura Silk Bloom Restorative Treatment

This is one that I really like for my deep conditioning that I do every 2 weeks or depending how my hair is looking and feeling. I'm not too sure on the all the ingredients but Shu Uemura uses Argan Oil in this product and many other nutrients your hair needs. It's light weight for my fine hair and keeps me wanting more. hahaha. This smells GREAT too!

This product is no longer sold in the US since the Nuclear reactor in Japan meltdown 2011. I'm sure you can purchase online.

I've used another Jason conditioner Vitamin E with A& C

which was too heavy for me but smelled clean.
For all conditioners I apply mid to ends so that my scalp won't become oily too fast. Don't get me wrong I will try other products by these brands. There's still a bunch of products within the brand that can work and still have to try out.
Til next time. Feed your hair.
